This page contains answers to  some common questions about our services, along with some tips and tricks that we have found useful.

Q.  Is it complicated to create a family documentary or recruiting video?

A.  Not at all!  For the family History videos, we will guide you through the process of gathering old photos, film, etc. that you may wish to include and give you a  questionnaire designed to get you thinking about the stories you want to share in your interview.  The recruiting videos are just as easy. We will videotape your match/game from an optimum location in order to capture the best footage. We then guide you through your on-camera interview with questions designed to get the answers recruiters are looking for.

Q. How expensive is it to create a video?

A.  We have various production packages to fit nearly any budget and the can be customized to fit your needs.

Q. How long does it take to produce?

A.  VideoScout programs can be turned around in as little as a week after the shooting. For the Family Histories, we generally allow 10-12 weeks after shooting to complete the edit.

If you are thinking about having your Family or personal history preserved, the best place to start is with your old (and new!) photos. Organize them as you browse and reminisce and you will find that you remember a lot more than you thought. Make  notes  in pencil on the backs of photos with any details you remember of the place, time, and people in the photo.
